Just one question - did the people of Pittsburgh riot and loot after their team won? Coz, that's what the idiots in Los Angeles did after the Lakers win. It's doggone embarrassing.
I can't resist this, the word verify is "mistanhx". That's when you make a mistake in your spanx.
Martha, in general Pittsburgh tends to be a more well behaved crowd. We did have some unpleasantness right after we won the Super Bowl, but the hockey crowd, while definitely partiers, are far less riotous.
But even after the Super Bowl, I wouldn't say there was rioting and looting. Just some dumpster bonfires and rowdy crowds that had to be rounded up in paddy wagons.
It was me who left the link to JPPB. Sorry, didn't mean to be so mysterious. Was in a hurry. Was going through the list of blogs I check from time to time. Burg Baby....I Need a Martini Mom.....Irishembi.....JPPB's is the next one alphabetically. Had just read the post on Irishembi about the Stanley Cup and figured JPPB would enjoy the reference to Howard Cosell but didn't have the time to write anything else. Maybe I should have made somehing fun up!

In a former life, (one that involved full night's sleep, uninterrupted showers, and peeing without having to answer the question, "Why do I have to wear underpants every day?") I was a Project Management Assistant for a General Contractor. This trained me well for dealing with whiny people with unreasonable demands. Same job just smaller people.
