Fanfare For The Common Man

This morning I was awoken by a not-quite-but-pretty-darn-close-to-two-year-old.

She had stripped off her pajamas, stood up straight and tall in her crib and announced,

"TA-DA!"

Who else but a Mom could be lucky enough to get this kind of greeting in the morning?

I'm just grateful she left the diaper on.

Hooray Meredith! Isn't it great how they are sure to announce their accomplishment? I went through a whole week where Abigayle would do this while I was cooking dinner...I would go to the livingroom to check on her when I heard the excited "TA-DA!", to find her clothes in a pile, and sans diaper.

LOL I love the "ta da". Cassidy went through a stage of taking off her footie pjs, so we used a safety pin for a while. She doesn't do it often anymore, unless she's in Jax's room for a period of time then she'll take them off and stand in front of his little portable heater.

OMG MB, I almost fell off the sofa when I went back to your blog, the Google ad is for Pirates tickets, LMAO I thought they gave those away! ;)

And here I thought Chuck was the only one watching their games. :-)

So cute! We haven't gotten the ta da yet, but K has learned how to unsnap the top doo-hickey and zip down her blanket sleepers - and looks quite proud of herself when we come in and ask what she did :)
